Uses of Red Iron Oxide

Red Iron Oxide is mainly used in paints and coatings, rubber, paper, cement colors, and building. The building materials industry is the largest consumer of iron oxide pigment. This is due to the pigments' high dispersibility and tinting strength. They are used to color concrete, mortar, paving blocks, chequered tiles, and many other materials.
