Product performance and characteristics of anticorrosive coatings

Feb 17, 2021

Anti-corrosion coatings are generally divided into conventional anti-corrosion coatings and heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, which are indispensable in coatings. Compared with traditional anti-corrosion coatings, traditional anti-corrosion coatings are a kind of anti-corrosion coatings that can be used in harsher corrosive environments. It has a longer protection period than traditional anti-corrosion coatings. It has anti-corrosion effect on metals under normal conditions and protects the service life of non-ferrous metals. Heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating is a kind of anti-corrosion coating suitable for relatively harsh environment. Its protection period is longer than that of traditional anti-corrosion coating.

1. It can be used under harsh conditions and has a long anti-corrosion life. Heavy anti-corrosion coatings are used in chemical atmospheres and marine environments. Generally, they can be used for more than 10 years, even in acid, alkali, salt and solvent media. It can be used for more than 5 years at a certain temperature.

2. Thick film is an important sign of heavy anti-corrosion coatings. Generally, the dry film thickness of anti-corrosion coatings is about 100μm or 150μm, while the dry film thickness of heavy anti-corrosion coatings is 200μm or more than 300μm, and the dry film thickness is 500μm~1000μm or more.

3. Strong adhesion: The coating has strong adhesion to the substrate. The coating composition contains hydroxyl (-OH), and the metal substrate provides positive ions. The coupling agent can be used to form chemical bonds in the coating, and even achieve common Valence bond. Under the maintenance of the space structure, the metal oxide nanomaterials and rare earth oxide ultrafine powders contained in the coating composition help the coating to form a dense interface transition layer, so that its comprehensive thermodynamic properties match the matrix.

4. Easy efficiency: The construction is light and easy, and the self-curing of inorganic coatings at room temperature is truly completed. When the temperature is 20℃ and the relative humidity is less than 85%, the surface dry for 15 minutes and the hard dry for 2 hours, which can ensure efficient construction and complete excellent salt spray resistance Resistant to aging. The coating is self-repairing, and some scratches formed by external force can still be cherished. The coating is not damaged by cutting and welding. Coated welding does not affect the welding quality.

5. Simple exercise method:

Inorganic polymer anticorrosive coating can be used alone or as an anticorrosive low-layer coating with inorganic paint. When a single-layer inorganic polymer anticorrosive coating is used as a primer, it can be used with epoxy, acrylic, and polyurethane.

①Excellent anti-corrosion performance: good adhesion, excellent anti-corrosion performance and long life.

②Excellent construction performance: it can be quickly cured at room temperature like the old anti-corrosion coating, and the construction is simple, and it can be operated by the unskilled (the reason why the chlorinated rubber heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating can obtain a few applications is important because of this notice).

③Excellent environmental performance: the solid content of traditional solvent-based anticorrosive coatings can only reach 50~60%, while the solid content of high-solid heavy anticorrosive coatings can reach 70%~80%, or even 90%~99%. The solvent increase is nearly Half, showing good environmental performance.
