The color‑forming Cr⁴⁺ ion is stabilized inside tin‑sphene crystal lattice, delivering soft light peach‑red tone, lighter shade compared with Agate‑Red 1113.
Important technical warning：
- Only stable under strict oxidizing firing atmosphere. Red‑forming Cr⁴⁺ will be reduced under reduction condition, leading to grey‑brown discoloration and total loss of peach‑red shade.
- Optimized for zinc‑free high‑calcium glaze. ZnO inside glaze will destroy tin‑sphene crystal structure and cause severe color deviation.
- Excessive MgO content in glaze will make peach‑red tone fade and turn pale.
- Please perform lab firing test with your own glaze formula before mass‑scale production.
