Precipitated barium sulphate

Precipitated barium sulfate is an amorphous white powder, non-toxic, insoluble in water, soluble in fuming sulfuric acid, and slightly soluble in boiling hydrochloric acid. It has stable chemical properties and is thermally reduced to barium sulfide with carbon. It is an environmentally friendly material. Use of precipitated barium sulfate
