Production Method:

The sulfuric acid method has the advantages of abundant raw materials, low price and easy availability, mature technology, simple equipment and easy operation. The disadvantage is that the process flow is long, it is an intermittent operation, and the waste by-product discharge is large.

2. The general process of the chlorination method: mix natural rutile or high-titanium slag raw materials with charcoal or petroleum coke for high-temperature chlorination. Titanium tetrachloride is formed, which is then oxidized at high temperatures to generate titanium dioxide. After filtering, washing with water, drying and crushing, titanium dioxide is obtained.
