Precipitated barium sulphate

Precipitated barium sulfate is an amorphous white powder, non-toxic, insoluble in water, soluble in fuming sulfuric acid, and slightly soluble in boiling hydrochloric acid. It has stable chemical properties and is thermally reduced to barium sulfide with carbon. It is an environmentally friendly material. The precipitated barium sulfate features high whiteness, small and uniform particles, pure products, and no black particles; narrow particle size distribution, and imported titanium The white powder is similar; it has good dispersibility and high affinity with the resin; it acts as isolation between the titanium dioxide particles, keeping the titanium dioxide particles at a certain distance from each other, giving full play to the performance of the titanium dioxide and improving the covering efficiency.

Use of precipitated barium sulfate

Precipitated barium sulfate has the advantages of strong chemical inertness, good stability, acid and alkali resistance, moderate hardness, high specific gravity, high whiteness, and ability to absorb harmful rays. The powder coating made of precipitated barium sulfate has high gloss and good leveling properties. It is currently the largest variety of powder coatings. The precipitated barium sulfate has a small and uniform particle size and good fluidity. It is generally used for higher-grade powder coating products.
