Introduction
Neutral Iron Oxide Red (Pigment Red 101, C.I.77491, CAS 1309‑37‑1) is synthetic α‑ferric‑oxide inorganic pigment, produced by special neutral washing treatment. Its water suspension pH value is stably controlled within 5‑7, different from ordinary iron oxide red with low pH value.
Neutral‑grade iron oxide red will not cause destabilization, thickening or demulsification for water‑borne emulsion systems. It maintains excellent tinting strength, light‑weather fastness. Widely applied for water‑based color paste, architectural latex paint, industrial coatings, also for cement‑based building materials.
